THE CHALLENGE
Finding the right stock. We suggested our most common recycled and FSC-certified stocks and wind-power produced paper; however, none piqued our client’s interest.
THE SOLUTION
We recommended they go tree free with Cranes Crest 100% cotton stock. 100% cotton paper is made from garment waste trimmings and tiny waste fibers generated during the cotton ginning process. Cotton papers require far less processing than wood-based papers and, therefore, less energy to manufacture.
THE RESULT
Utilizing the latest technology and printing with vegetable oil-based inks, The Inkwell produced a stationery package that is not only attractive, but enables our client to minimize the environmental impact of a necessary manufacturing process.
